GTCHD partners with Hagerty for COVID-19 vaccine clinic

The Grand Traverse County Health Department (GTCHD) is partnering with Hagerty to provide a COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Thursday, May 20 at the Hagerty office located at 141 Rivers Edge Dr. Traverse City, 49684. The clinic will be open from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. and will welcome all staff, the family of staff, and the general public.

Those arriving at the clinic should enter through the doors on Lake Avenue across from the Old Towne Parking Deck. The clinic will be taking place in the cafeteria of the building. Please be advised that this location is not Northwestern Michigan College’s Hagerty Center.

Both Johnson & Johnson (single dose) and Pfizer (two doses) vaccines will be offered. For those that choose the Pfizer vaccine, the second dose appointment will be scheduled for June 10 at the same location.
There is no pre-registration or appointment needed.

“These collaborative efforts in the community are key to our vaccination efforts in Grand Traverse County as we continue to strive to vaccinate at least 70% of our population,” said GTCHD Emergency Preparedness Director, Mike Lahey. “We have had great success offering vaccines to those who are willing to come to us at our vaccination sites, but we recognize the need to bring vaccines to individuals in the community who may not have had that opportunity and we hope to continue these efforts to ensure all have the appropriate access. We thank Hagerty for this opportunity and for being such a great pillar of our community.”
